Primo 2.4 navigation for iPhone/iPad

I don't understand why it failed installation. Just go back to the old one for now. I'll look into it some more. Thanks.

One last try if you would please. If this one doesn't work with TTS, I just may have to give up. BTW, when you choose a TTS voice during start-up, do you hear a greeting? It might take as long as 20 seconds or so to hear. Am I correct in saying there is no TTS audio during navigation?

Anyone getting TTS [navigation] from post 33?

Does anyone have Primo TTS working on their jailbroken iOS iPhone? I've tried many different things and I can't get TTS going only non-TTS voices. Please post how you did it if you have TTS on your iPhone. Thanks.

I just put this free nav app on my iPhone. Doesn't require a jailbreak or anything. Seems to work pretty good. Looks like it's for Android also. Plus free maps worldwide. Doesn't have all the options. Can't have everything.

HERE is pretty crap if you ask me, don't understand the hype around it.
Will have to check if i have an old 2.4 version of Primo in my archive, in the mean time here is 2.5.6 which also works pretty well (without custom content.)

The 2.5.6 links above don't work. Its the European version and comes without maps. I already tried that version and gave up as the bundled license I'm assuming only works Europe maps.

I did however manage to find an older v2.3 for IOS

To install unzip and change file extension to .ipa

Note: This download comes with Brazil maps. Just delete all associated files and then add your regions maps.
In my case WhereIS Australia 2015.03 worked for me.

Just took this for a test drive. Whilst the app runs great, I found 2 problems with it. Hopefully someone can upload a later version of this app that may fix these problems.

1) Phone keeps going to blank/lock screen after amount of inactive time set in IOS ie Setting > General > Auto Lock
Only way to fix is to set Auto Lock to Never.

2) Primo not saving settings. Keeps running Configuration Wizard on startup if application is removed from memory or phone is restarted.

Make sure to also read post #1 for instruction. However, some things are kinda changed. So please use your head.
