If the touchscreen is unresponsive you have two options:
A) faulty
B) misaligned
For B) we have a tutorial.

Apart from being faulty and requesting a refund you can try a clean if the refund fails.
Take the TT apart and clean the area of the screen, dust and dirst loved to accumulated around the display frame causing the touchscreen to malfunction as it always registers a touch from the dirt.
If bought on Ebay and it never worked as advertised get your money back and move on to another one.

I will try giving it a thorough cleaning, however i can see that the screen is held on with some form adhesive strips?

also is there a tutorial for realignment?

I've sacked it off, opened a return on ebay and will let that run its course the last thing I want to do is be opening up the screen etc. for a item that was advertised as being fully functional.

Gone for another one tonight, £78 delivered with all accessories, the guy replied my questions instantly and has over 5000 positive feedback. Fingers crossed!

Where do I start? I know I need to get the latest truck navcore and map right?

you need to remove your picture. its showing unit id which is not reccommended

you need to down load the latest truck map and the truck navcore . also fast activate all onto a 4 gig sd card , then insert into unit connect to pc and open the drive for sd card (not internal drive)and use fast activate to pair it with your unit. instructions are with each thread.

They stay on internal. Unit boots off SD card so u don't need to touch internal.

Ok i have successfully installed new navcore 9.702, and i have the truck map 950.6551 in a folder on sd card, but when I try to use fast activate to patch it does not do anything just starts and closes itself?

When I try to select map the message is:-

Problem with this map

You cannot use this map on this device: Europe_TRUCK-100399

It's doing my nut in now. I managed to start fast activate, the maps have been patched (new .dct files created in the map folder) but I still can't select to use the EUROPE_TRUCK map!!

You must open fast activate by right clicking on it and "open as administrator"
