Flying to Florida on monday and am trying to install North America Map on my ONE V4 and it just doesn't show up on the device.Have unpacked North_America_2GB_865_325 and placed it on the SD card, ran Fastactivate and the map folder contains the meta.dct file. When SD is put back in the device only my original UK map shows up, any help is much appreciated as I hear the hire of satnav over there is pricey. Dont no why but the map version listed in ttgo.bif is incorrect as I updated to United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_865_3262 and it is installed and working.

Put a copy of your 8412 navcore on the SDHC card with the map.

Thanks tendriver. I am having trouble with the download of the navcore from here . how do I access it on my device, and is the SDHC critical as Im just using a basic SD at the min. Cheers

If you have another map on your device, have you selected the new map after the installation?
In the menu mangae maps, switch maps.
For SDHC you need at least bootloader 5.5112 but a suitable bootloader is included in the CAB for the 8.412

When i go to switch maps the only map showing is my uk map

Please confirm the new map is not in a sub folder!
E.g. the .pna and .meta.dct files are located in a folder in the root of the device - same as with the UK map.
If the map does not show up at all you must have done something wrong during the installation.

I can confirm the us map is in its own folder and not a sub folder in the root along with the uk map and contains both pna and meta .dct

If you use the 865.3254 map than you need a V9 Navcore.
The 865.3245 will work with your current 8.412 Navcore.

Bit more info please. The maps state an automatic installer and patcher but when unpacked I dont see anything.Am I missing something because I just unpack put on SD and run Fastactivate.

If you are talking about my maps than you'll find an installer inside the Rar archive, this installer is to be started on the PC not on the TT.
Same for the other installer maps : unpack and start the Exe on your PC.

Just wanted to say thanks. Map 3245 is on and looks good.If I had looked at the map chart correctly I probably wouldn't of had so much trouble(nice one downunder35m) regarding the North USA map with patch and installer, when installing I got a message saying the archive was corrupt and installation stopped so got the the other map. This is not a complaint , but a heads up incase the uploader wants to take a look. Keep up the excellent work.Cheers

Good to hear you got it working and I checked the files before the upload.
It is likely that there was a problem with the download since I have no complaints otherwise.
