Version: Open your 530 in Windows Explorer. Locate the ttgo.bif file. Open it with notepad. Your version is in line 9.

What area/country map do you need?

1. We expect new maps to be released in a week or 2. You can wait or update now & then again later.

OK. let's keep it simple for now & load a new map + patch your 8.351 navcore.
When the new maps come out, you can update both navcore & map.

Make a backup of your current setup using windows explorer.

Navcore: Download this .rar: [Please Register or Login to download file]
Unzip & copy the ttsystem file into your unit with windows explorer, overwriting the current file.

Map: Go here: 860 maps with installer and Fast Activate Read the instructions carefully. Select: Iberia 860.3101 313mb

Based on your post 1, you are going on a trip, and a navcore update isn't necessary, I suggested keeping it simple to avoid problems.

That one worked tks. However i have a problem now. I did everything acording the images. But now the tomtom starts, and it goes to the map screen. Once i touch the map screen it freezes and then after a while it reboots!! Whats wrong?

Yes, you should.

Review. This is a 4 step procedure.

1. Copy the pre-patched ttsystem file into unit overwriting the old.
2. Replace old map folder with new.
3. Patch map. Confirm patch by looking for a .meta.dct file in the new map folder.
4. Disconnect & reboot.

Did you do anything diffferent?
