update tom tom

hi all

i have tt one 3rd edition 512mb [4n01.000] as far as i know it has not been messed with

i am looking to update it with uk maps would someone be able to point me in the right dirrection on which files and how to do

i am sorry for being a bit dumb i have looked through a lot of threads and it has confused me even more

any help will be greatly appreciated i only get short time on pc as at work all day and having building worlk done

Follow these instructions and you will be fine ;)

[color="red"] Take a full backup of your device with windows explorer (Copy and Paste) and KEEP IT SAFE[/color]

• Download SE_navcore.8.410.1218_32mb_Devices.rar from here http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2831-TomTom-Automatic-Navcore-Installation
• Extract the .exe to your PC (Password for the rar is - navitotal)
• Run the .exe from your PC
• Choose the Drive letter of your TomTom
• Click Install and wait (Overwrite any files if prompted to do so)
• Download this map UK & IR 855.2884 from here http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2662-All-New-Maps-855.XXXX When downloaded extract the map to a folder named UK_&_IR_855_2884 in the root of your device
• Download AutoActivate from here http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2330-AutoActivate-05.11.2010-1.4 Extract to the root of your device and run the .exe. . . . Wait for it to finish and job Done
• Restart device and enjoy
