It would be better to start again using Holyhead's tutorial from post #13...although I've modified it a little to suit your needs

holyhead wrote:Backup the XL

1) Use NavCore 9.510_DSA_For 32Mb_ram_Voice+UK and unpack it (winrar o.i.d) and place the files and folders on the XL.

[Please Register or Login to download file]

2) Reset the device (at least 15 sec) and then run it till the notice "No map found"

3) Use Europe Central 995.8507 (PW: navitotal)

noref.php?url=http://relink.to/view.php?id=db670a5eae1500bb99eaec4ee70be9

Unpack it and copy the new map to the XL in its own folder. You can remove the Cspeech file from the map.
When you open the map you see the individual files. Not a map in a map.

4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your SD Card root. Run "FastActivate.exe". Select option 2

viewtopic.php?f=127&t=19452

5) Reset the device (at least 15 sec)

Done

We like to hear the result good or bad.

What you mean is not compatible with the XL. What navcore you have on the XL ?
Forget it and read the tutorial Fredderf just modified.

There is NO meta available yet and the size is different
Europe_Central_995_8507 --- 1.02 GB
Central_Europe_995_8507 --- 1.50 GB
It work on all my devices, Rider v2 too
Follow holyhead his install tutorial at the point

Goodluck anyway

updated the meta, did run fastacivate and again the .dct error again...

What's going on is;

You're being very impatient & not giving the author of FastActivate a chance to update the program...or reading the instructions you're given within the help file for FastActivate/or on the FastActivate page itself...I only posted the meta for Benelux 995.8507 just over 2 hours ago

huntsman wrote:
1. Update meta.txt
If you have a new meta code, which is not in the integrated or updated meta.txt (See in program for date of current integrated meta.txt), then you must put all new meta codes in a file named META.TXT and copy it to the Device/SD-Card ROOT Directory or keep it in the same directory as FastActivate.exe.

I'm truly great full for your guys help! my father can drive savely again. (his old version let him on a short ghostdriver path  )

The new europe map will be finally ready in the coming hour and don't expect any isues anymore.

Again! maybe thanks!

Ok, never mind...I'm glad you got it working for your dad

Thanks should really go to Holyhead for the navcore & tutorial...and to pe1agp for the updated meta (so don't forget to hit the thanks button for them too)

Your device is without an SD slot ?
Your current map is far out of date, I'm affraid the same won't fit anymore your device.
Than the question is, where do you drive or want to drive most of the time, Europe Central or Central Europe must be possible on your device.
Than you're missing Iberia for instance, but as an extra map it must fit your device too an than you've to switch near the border.

provaid82 wrote:Yes my device not have sd slot most time i use for drive in UK and i need for truck

Truckmap is not possible is to big (2.6 GB). So following the next procedure

1) Use the map
United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 995.8507
noref.php?url=http://relink.to/f/c16b3d2381d3cbd9e10f6a76784054
--
2) Make a backup of your Device and delete the map.
--
Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
--
3) Use FastActivate download and unpack
viewtopic.php?f=127&t=19452
Copy "FastActivate.exe" and
Integrated_meta.txt

to your TomTom device in the root
Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3 till the message
OK System patched
Done
