Make a backup of your current setup using Windows Explorer.
Download this map: Europe Truck 845.2649 2.15GB here: Latest Europe TRUCK Maps
Download this navcore: [Please Register or Login to download file] + SE_ttsystem.8.395.1913.rar
Download AutoActivate 21.09.2010 {1.3} or FastActivate ENG 21.09.2010 {1.6} Read the info in these links.
Remove the old map folder & copy in the new.
Copy in the Navcore & only the SE ttsystem File from the rar, overwriting any common files.
Run the keygen that you chose. DONE!!

To use your SD card, copy the navcore & only the SE ttsystem File from the rar, map folder & a copy of your 730's ttgo.bif file onto it & run the keygen.

Tendriver, Some good info. there my friend. Sorry to bother you but can I be so bold as to ask a couple of questions though?

1. The 'sweet' part of the TT site, how on earth do you access it? I searched high and low and couldn't find the door. How do you view all the navcores on TT home site?

2. I've managed to do my own (truck map on sd card) by doing some reading and a bit of jammyness. I haven't read up on this SE thing though as it wasn't something I felt I needed to do at the time but am going to do it now that I'm getting a bit more acquainted with things. For the map I used, which was the latest truck map before this one (845/2649), there was a meta/tmeta but you haven't mentioned it here and there doesn't seem to be one about (just checked FastActivate meta.txt and nothing there). Do I take it that by using this SE thing, that negates the need for the meta?

1. Just click on the "sweet" link in post 2 above your post. There is a list of most of the navcores at the bottom of Latest Navcores post 1.
2. Use map 845 for now. The metas for 855 haven't been posted yet.

When a map, speed cams, etc are patched, a .dct file is created. The truck maps have 2 .dct files, a meta.dct & a tmeta.dct. Look for both in your truck map folder.

OK, just as a review to ensure we didn't miss anything. Since you are using a card, I changed the instructions a little bit.

Download this map: Europe Truck 845.2649 2.15GB here: Latest Europe TRUCK Maps
Download this navcore: http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/nav...re-GO-WORK.cab + SE_ttsystem.8.395.1913.rar
Download FastActivate ENG 21.09.2010 {1.6} Premium Edition. Read the info in this link.
Copy the Europe Truck 845.2649 2.15GB map folder to your card.
Copy your 730's ttgo.bif file, Navcore & only the SE ttsystem File from the rar to your card.
Run FastActivate Maps/Voice/Speedcams.
DONE!!

Remove the file mapsettings.cfg from your map folder if present, put it in a safe place on your PC then try and boot.

He is doing a clean install. I don't see the mapsettings.cfg file being an issue.
