I uploaded a 8.398 modified for the X50 devices.

Install the archive to an empty device, if you already have an activated map on it than leave tha map on the device too, same for custom voices.

After the first start you will get a reboot - this is normal and can take up to 5min!
If after 5min the device still shows the TT logo screen than something went wrong.
The TTS voice of Susan is already included as I noticed some TTS voices are not working properly on my device using this Navcore, however Susan works fine.

If you want to test please leave in your feedback what X50 device you use, what map and if you find problems try to describe them as exact as possible.

Known problems so far : you have to hold the power button +15sec to shut the device off properly.

I am using GO520 and using map 860-3122 boot 505120 and
have just downloaded it to a spare 4 gig sd card and used fast activator to set it up, as yet it has taken 3 minutes to boot up the it returned to tomtom screen, after 30 seconds i have a green screen with the "your responsibility jargon on" press agree and pressed the Europe truck map, set the truck detail and it goes to the normal start screen.
I am now waiting for the unit to pick up the satalites and it took 4 minutes to acquire (prob location of unit).when touching screen to go to navigate i get 6 blue arrows with no other markings and at the bottom it says current position "Oldham" pressing any button and nothing happens.tried a soft reboot same result when it rebooted.the quick start menu works i.e navigate to post code etc and the map shows your location.the unit will not turn off or do a hard reset.its doesn't seem to work for me unless i have missed something in set up.
hope that helps and any instructions to do anything else "keep it simple and plain:))

You have a GO 520, this isn't for you. This is a special version for GO X50 units.

You have a GO X20 series unit. There are X00, X10, X20, X30, X40 & X50 series.

Backing my TT 950 up now and will let you know how it goes.

EDIT
Seem to be working fine on my TT 950 and TTLive also seems to be working great.

I will test this at work tomorrow to see if there are any hiccups.

Known problems so far : you have to hold the power button +15sec to shut the device off properly.

You can set you device to power off when removed from an external power source

Change Preferences> Pg7 Battery Saving Preferences> press done and place a tick in the Switch off when external power is lost

Seems that this version runs much better than the old 8.396.
Thank you for the input and time to test it.

Search you original backup for all files with
tmc and/or rds in it.
Replace file files on the current Navcore.

For Go950 nothing to do for TMC even when put back original tmc back-uped files (i.e. from gns and maps folder)
For others TT try to put this 3087 files at the root :wallbash:
