navcore 8.410.1218 map usa & canada unit was working perfectly for bout 9 months, shut it off, when i restarted no touch screen response

After doing a bit of research, I fear you have a hardware problem. There is nothing on the web about it.

You can check on Ebay, these touch screen are often listed for under 20$US - that is only the touch part, not a complete screen.
Replacement is pretty straight forward but if it is related to a hardware problem on the circuit board than there is not much that can be done.
