TomTom Via series and navcore 10

Fri May 20, 2011 2:18 pm

Does anyone know if when connecting your version 10 device to your PC or Mac, you can still access the flash memory and/or sd card using Windows Explorer or the Finder?

Is is possible to patch the version 10 navcore and add new maps like with version 9?

There is no patcher for navcore 10 at this time.

Why isn't there a patcher for navcore 10? Isn't navcore 10 out for almost a year?

I can think of multiple possibilities:

1) New encryption disabling us from installing this on older model
2) Nobody is willing to make it available
3) Navcore 10 does not work on older hardware (RAM?)

This is why I'm asking.

my vision on the new tomtom

via the new tomtom etc. .. are actually a network card,
usb network transports the tomtom,
the network address is 169.254.255.1
the only problem we lack SSH access codes to access the server (internal tomtom).
