From now on, to avoid having any ERROR messages from poping'up when running TTHOME

in your GPS, open the file called TTGO.bif with notepad

then in notepad, click FILE --> SAVE AS --> type in --> TTGO.ori (save this file to the root of your GPS)

Shutdown notepad

then open the file called TTGO.bif with notepad again

replace just these 2 lines like this...

From:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9051
ApplicationVersion=503855.2

To:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=???? (basically Your devices offcial Navcore version number)
ApplicationVersion=???? (basically Your devices offcial Navcore version)

then click, FILE --> SAVE

and since notepad is still running, click FILE --> SAVE AS --> type in --> TTGO.bak (save this file to the root of your GPS)

What are the diffrents, i can only save them in a diffrent name/file than?
Because the text-lines that i must replace are the same right, only in a nother file?

or doing i something wrong?

Make sure your PC doesn't Hide Extensions For Known File Types...
if your on XP, follow --> [Please Register or Login to download file]
if your on 7, follow --> [Please Register or Login to download file]

(02)
Then connect GPS to PC

(03)
open the file called ttgo.bif with notepad

(04)
then in notepad, click FILE --> SAVE AS --> and name it --> ttgo.ori (save this file to the root of your GPS)

(05)
Shutdown notepad

(06)
then open the file called ttgo.bif with notepad again
and replace just these 2 lines like this...

From:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9051
ApplicationVersion=503855.2
To:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=XXXX (basically Your devices offcial Navcore version number)
ApplicationVersion=XXXX (basically Your devices offcial Navcore version number)

then click, FILE --> SAVE

(07)
and since notepad is still running,
click FILE --> SAVE AS --> and name it --> ttgo.bak (save this file to the root of your GPS)

(08)

You can manually change the extension after in a Explorer window :-

Tools > Folder Options > View > (untick) Hide Extensions For Known File Types > Then Remove The Extension Manually ;)

dude,,, they are text format per say.....

but the extension needs to be .bak / .bif / .ori

make sure to not hide extensions.... http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://www.fileinfo.com/help/windows-show-extensions.html
