tomtom Start 25

Can anyone tell me whether the Start 25 is a good buy? I like the look of the 5" screen but just wondered whether the inevitable need for tweaking and putting new maps will be achievable?

Bad idea. All the latest models run v10 navcore and connect to TT servers via MyTomTom rather than TomTom Home.
Basically this means you're totally stuck with what you BUY as these cannot (at least currently) be cracked/patched/tweaked!

If you want to buy a good device check for a second hand/refurbished 520/530/720/730.

Do you know if you can add your own POIs to the maps?

Thanks for asking the same question I was looking for, now it's back to the drawing board.
