I've only had this happen once before and it turned out to be a faulty partition on the internal disk.

I deleted the partition > remade it > formatted and reinstalled and all was fine again

sorry, but how can I do this?

Did you try copying complete NC & map to SD card and running it from there?

Just curious....as that is how I've got my Go 940 setup, I don't use the internal HDD

In Disk Management...see [Please Register or Login to download file]

Be very careful that you select the correct drive before proceeding!

It should be FAT32 not NTFS

Well, it doesn't hurt to try to follow fredderf's advice. You can use Windows Disk Management to delete and remake a partition on your TT device.
Of course you can also use another partition program.
Be careful only to mess around with your TT's partition or you might mess up your pc!

In truth, I realised that I didn't do this with the affected device. So let us know if you have succes following this procedure.

Please can anybody send me a working link for the TomTom clear flash tool, or perhaps post a copy for me. I lost mine somehow. TomTom no longer offer it and all the links online seem to be spyware etc. Thanks in advance, Dave.
