tomtom problems

A new memb. needs some help,please!
I have TT Go 500 and I downl. a new navcore (8.413) , also a new map (central and east.eur.-845.2645)
TT Home says (invalid version inst.). Any idea how to pach new navc. and new map on TT home or whithaout it,Please

Hi does the map work on your actuall device ? is it juts tthome it does not work in ? if so here is how to fix the wrong version error you might get when you connect to tthome ?? and below that is instructions on how to patch TThome.

Invalid Version Error Fix;
1. Connect your device to pc
2. Open your TT drive in explorer and open the file "ttgo.bif"
3. Change these 2 lines to read as below,

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=[color="Red"]7903[/color]
ApplicationVersion=[color="Red"]9183[/color]

4. Save file as "ttgo.bak"
5. Reboot, Done!.

Patch TTHome;
1. Connect to TThome and choose the button "operate my device"
2. Let TTHome download a folder of a few files (Among these files is the Home .dll you need to patch.)
3. Download Keygen 4.1D and Run file "Tomtom4.exe" with admin rights (Download it in my sig)
4. In the keygen choose button "Patch tomtom home" > "Patch Home" > "Search TT Home dll" , This will now search the file you need to patch when done it will tell you, restart tthome and the operate my device emulator will work

and also tell me,

are you able to use your GPS to navigate right now?

or when you power it ON, you get a MAP error message?

At the moment it's working fine with the UK and RoI 850.2781.
AND ,please can you tell me is there any difference between 8413 and 8417 or 8419 navcore?

Please IF I change this 2 nr. will it run with my bootload. version 55244 and with UK and RoI 850.2781.
Is it gonna change also the appl.version 8413--1237.

TThome will offer you to put the latest officiall navcore for your device on then you will need to re-patch your ttsystem file, you are running a v8 navcore so no need to downgrade to a v7. if you follow my instructions above accurutly that will fix those problems for you.

I just wanted to try connecting my TT GO 500 with TT HOME but with no success, so I gave up.
