Have nothing else to do!

If this combo gives you QuickGPSfix updates, please advise.

BTW, I would have recommended:

5.5128 - better GPS signal quality / speed connect
or
5.5136 One/XL 2008 - One/XL 2009

Re your #52, loaded onto one xl and that is it!

I cannot do anything e.g. plan route, screen comes up and that is it. Try to plan a route or anything and it re-boots. The only way to switch if off is to hard reset!

Now installing the downloaded NC.

The system now says:

BootloaderTarget=s3c24xx
Bootloaderversion=5.5128

Okay, everything installed onto the One XL eventually. Works fine with the downloaded NC, map and using Downunders gpsfix and guess what.

No gps fix. Has been outside in clear sky for 7 minutes so far and nothing picked up, but I know I have to wait a bit longer. So let's see what happens by 1830 local time.

At 1831 nothing. So delete Downunder's stuff and installed tomtom's gpsquickfix.

Let's see what happens now!

I had the same problem with my friend's TT One. It just kept relooping at the TT logo and going nowhere else. I'm trying to remember what I did to correct it. It was perfect after that. I'll keep thinking about it!

EDIT: Not sure, but I think that I re-formatted his SD card using FAT32 and reinstalled my 8.412.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Ahead of you on the re-format, did that before I started.

Well, the piece of [deleted word] is rapidly heading for the back of the drawer, once again nothing re satellites. I have now officially given up on it - just. Yes I can get the odd one or two greys and that is all.

Thanks to everyone who has helped today.

I also used NA maps from 875. Also used auto-activate from my upload.
