Yes, by using VocalizerTTS only.

So the computer voices work, except for reading streetnames? In the menu of TT, under the voice settings/preferences, there is an option to read streetnames. Maybe it is turned off. Try to enable it.

What NC do you have? And what's in the setconfig.txt file (if you have one)? You got the Vocalizer voices from TT HOME, could you try one of mine and look of those work?

NC stands for NavCore, e.g. the operating system of your TomTom. See here how to get this info: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?889-What-s-your-Current-TomTom-GPS-Configuration .

Possibly a similar vein http://www.navitotal.com/forums/images/smiley/helpsos.gif

Being a) a newbie and b) suffering senile dementure I have the following question
here do the Vocaliser / voice files go when you have multi gps.

I have Igo 8
Igo Amigo
Igo Primo
TT Navigator

Does the folder go to Navigator and voice to voices or do they go to the SD root or both?

This is my SD root

1819

Thanks in advance

Megalos

I have 2 gadgets First is a TT One V3 (no SD card) which is a Linux system and the other is a Myguide 3100 (has SD card limit 2Gb) under a wince 5 op system

Standard navcores wont work only PDA so restricted to Navigator 7

Regards

Keith, I think Vocalizer will only work on the TT ONE v3. Put the VocalizerTTS folder in the root of the TT. Make sure you're using an SE NC (like 8.562SE, 8.417SE or 8.544SE for example).

Thanks Megalos

Regret that is not the problem. On TT am using 8.414 navcore and 855.2884 map. TTS is fine Vocaliser Serina

Problem is on Myguide do the folder and files go in SD card root or in Navigator folder or both
