tomtom one 3rd edition formatted...no backup

This gps was given to me formatted with no backup. They told me it was stuck at the flash screen so they went and formatted it. Is it screwed or is there still a way to get this sucker working? Maybe there is a walk-through somewhere? Thanks

For a navcore, go here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read the instructions carefully, then select: SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices.rar

What area of the world do you need coverage of?

ok i installed the navcore you told me to install and when i turn it on it goes to the tomtom start screen then it goes to the loading screen and the bar goes across the bottom then it goes back to the tomtom screen again and freezes there. Maybe this is because i dont have my map installed yet?
