TOMTOM maps for android ?

Postby djbosanac » Fri May 18, 2012 8:50 am

Hello,

I have a question about cellphone navigations.

I have now a HTC ONE X, love this cellphone.
But what i want to know is, wat kind of navigation formaly (tomtom i want) can be runned on a Android 4.0.3 cellphone?

And is it possible to use new updated maps, and is usable (think of is it using alot of 3G (mb's)
Because i live in the Netherlands we use 3G with mb data. So i must be durable to use.

Thanks in advance.

Follow my instructions, use wifi for the map download and don't go near the Activate option in the menu and you'll be fine.

I have 4.0.3 ics and sygic works perfectly, navigon stopped working after the upgrade to ics, didn't try reinstalling it.

Install the apk
go back to the home screen and connect to wifi
Open sygic downloader and choose what you need
Wait while everything is downloaded
Open sygic and navigate

Easy!
