tomtom map issues North_America_855.2937 help please

I am trying to put on a new North America map-(North_America_855.2937).Ii use easy activator to activate and i get this error: problem with map can not use this map on this device North America 203.
what map do i use?

1. The 855 maps are no longer currrent. If they were, You would have wanted the full feature version NA 2GB 855.2884. You now want the full featured NA 2GB 860.3101.
2. That error message is telling you that either the map or navcore have not been properly patched.

I only have 1.91 gig free on my internal tomtom with no external card slot.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated?

OK, download & install NA 2GB 860.3101 as suggested in post 2 above. 1.91GB is plenty of space.

So I understand correctly only maps with IQ route and c speech will work with my device.

With NC 9.02XX or higher, any map that will load onto you 2GB storage will work. I apologize if I gave you a different impression.
