Tomtom Home Latest V 2.20.1.1239

The latest version of TT Home is not working (replacement of V 2.11.8.600)
When connecting a device to this version,
there is a pop up message that tells you that there is a major update
of TTHome, but ......
If installed (V 2.20.1.1239) , there is NO TTHome. exe
only an TTHomeuninstaller.exe , a TTHome.ico and the other 2 usall files
So this version is useless !!

Is this an error of Tomtom of is there another reason ?
Test done with a patched GO720 and a regular Rider 5.

I've seen a few people complaining about the same thing...TT have messed up and will probably release a new version in due course

Is there on this forum any new news about the TT Home ?
Till now, if installation of the new version 2.20.1.1239 .... NOT working
it seems that TT is quiet slow in correcting their error !
Not that it is life treatening, but I paid for the camera's
and I'm unable to install them on my regular Rider 5.
Sometime they force people to do ..... .....

Instal and unistal few times , for me work .

They've pulled 2.20.1.1239 from their website as they'd messed up 32bit & 64bit files.

The latest version they show on their site now is 2.11.8.0 which runs fine:

TTHome V 2.11.8.600 runs fine with my offical Rider 5
buth gives a message to update with my GO 730 ?????
The only reason why I use TTHome is for the Mapshare updates and GPS update.
Which files can I copy from my rider 5 to my GO 730 to have these updates ?

Unpack and place !QuickGPSfix.exe in the folder ephem

connect the 730 with your computer and update the file.

Tomtom Home worked for a while wit a regular Rider 5,
Now it's no longer working with any of the GPS systems I own.
Tried already to desinstall several times (even hidden files)
and install again, NOTHING works !
Anyone ???
Tomtom Home is used on the Rider 5 to update the maps (lifetime free maps),
premium speedcams (licensed till Oct 2020) , GPS Fix and Mapshare.

Hmmm, it looks like TT have radically updated the TomTom Home software...it's now version 2.20.4.1267

They've killed the old version off and nothing works which could be what your problem is?
The new one is not very good either & very clunky but it works...I'll upload it for you if you want to try it out for yourself:

I downloaded the one you uploaded,
install it and .....
doesn't work at all.
This is the version that appears when the update is done on a regular base.
Checked in the programs files 64/Tomtom Home 2 and there is NO tomtomhome .exe,
only a TTHomeservice.exe
When you click on it, nothing happens
and the logo on your screen says that the Tomtomhome.exe is missing.
So, we are back to stage 1

Weird...I'm using a 64bit OS and it's installed it into the C:\Program Files directory.

Do you want me to rar up the installed dir and upload it for you?

Still, I don't know what was going wrong with my previous installation
Works a little bit slower than the previous ones, but it works
and that's all what matters.
I can update my Rider 5 again which is important to me.
