Sun Jul 29, 2012 4:08 pm

Hello
I have a tomtom GO630 with a map of Western Europe that I would make day.
Is there a tutorial and an update that explains all this?
My map version is: 810.1907

thank you

1. Do you want to replace your WE 810 map for the current version, or do you want a different area?
2. Your 630 has 1 GB internal memory? I know it has a card slot.
3. Have you ever used a patched map on this 630?

I want to put my current card day.
For the internal memory I do not know.
I have used this card on my GO630

1. I dont understand this. Are you using an online translator?
2. Connect your 630 to your computer. On your desk top, left click the Computer icon. On the right side of the window that opens, Right click the 630 drive & left click Properties. You will see the size of your internal memory.
3. OK.

Great!! Now let's get back to your need.
In post 4 I asked, "Do you want to replace your WE 810 map for the current version, or do you want a different area?", but I did not get an answer. Do I need to reword the question?

yes I want to replace my card with a current version

OK. 1 more question. Am I correct that your 630 is not patched at this time? If you don't understand, please say so.

Go here: All New Maps 890.XXXX & 891.XXXX Read the instructions. Download Full Featured Europe West 890.4222 to your desktop. Western Europe 890.4222 is not usable.

Go here: FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.9 Read the Instructions. Download FastActivate to your desktop.

Download the 2 attachents below.

Remove the old map folder. Unzip the new map & copy it's folder to the open spot left by the old map.
Unzip FastActivate. Copy it to the same memory that you put the map in. If you use a SD card without a navcore on it, put a copy of your ttgo.bif on the SD card. Run FA to patch the map only.
Unzip the attachments. Copy the 2 files to where your navcore is loaded, allowing the copied in ttsystem file to overwrite the current one.
Done. Disconnect & reboot.
