TomTom Go600 daft noob style question

Mon Sep 01, 2014 10:27 am

Ok so yesterday i purchased a Go 600 only to find that with the newer system you can no longer assess system files.

Having had a bit of a read its suggested you can still install poi's via my drive using the Add community content option but i don't get that option as its not available for the Go 600

So then i find its been suggested i can install poi's from a previous device using content transfer assistant.

So i'm wondering as i have a free speedcams trial from tomtom that runs out in 3 months will i then be able to install tomtom speed cams from here onto my old device and then transfer across onto the Go 600 and them still work?

hoping it may be a work round for people as i take it the device will have a dct file from the trial and just need newer .ov2 files?

or is that unrealistically simplistic.

TomTom Speed cams not included. Do a Google search for TomTom GO 600 "Content transfer assistant".The OS for the old & new are completely different. The old unit cams are not compatible with the new OS.
