Hi there, Newbie here. Been reading until my eyes hurt and trying many different combinations of Navcore and maps for my Eclispe but can not get anything to work. I can always put my backup back on and she works good..Luckily for me :)

My Navcore is 7.825 and can not seem to change it. Even if I delete this and run Home it puts the same one back on. It looks like the newer maps will work with it and I would love to put on a newer map. mine is original from 2009 north america 2G 835.2421 and boot 1.0012.

Appreciate it very much if someone can point me in the right direction on this beast.

Thanks very much and Happy New Year to all :)

Thanks tendriver, I did try NA 2G 860.3101 as well as many others, but none worked for me. I will look for the 860.3100 and give it a go.

Thank you :)

860.3101 is not compatible with your navcore.

Well, making slight progress. Instead of "No Map Found" I got "Can Not Use this Map on Your Device" with 3100... Getting closer :)

Your unit is telling you that you must patch both navcore & map.

I think I have done that. I have tried using Autoactivate, fastactivate, easy activate and easy tools. But no cigar :( I just read that I may need a tweaked navcore as it won't work with an original one. (7825) But I have not found a newer navcore that will boot up. Always shuts down after a few seconds.

Just dl'd another version of NA 2GB 860.3100 with a different meta, so will try again.

Thanks tendriver
