TomTom Go 930 - best navcore?!

TomTom Go 930 - best navcore?!

Postby coveiro24 » Fri Apr 23, 2021 7:54 pm

Hi There

I have a tomtom go 930.

Already have changed the battery, put a sd card, and everything is running fine.

The problem is when I want to fully use the truck map. So for this, I have used many truck navcores (from this forum included), but the problem is that, the sound stops working about 1 minute after turning the device (so a problem with the navcore..), and the jukebox to listen music for example disappear, because the majority doesn't have this function or the bluetooth option with the function to call and use the contacts disappear..

So the question is, anyone with a tomtom go 930, specifically, have managed to find a navcore that can retain all the tomtom go 930 functions and fully utilize the truck map, selecting the vehicles and at the same time the directions sound stay functioning?

Thanks

I have or rather had the same experience with my then brand new GO 910.
On the way back from the Czech Republic in half of Germany the spoken directions stopped, but the route was still well indicated.
At the next refueling I thought, I reset the GO 910, I should not have done that, the device no longer worked.

Emergency navigation switched on and further home.
After sharing my experiences with TomTom, she sent me a piece of software to reset the GO 910, after which it worked well again.

But as soon as I started using the device as a media player, the problem came back after a while.
There must have been a bug in the software somewhere, I suspect that some stack overflow, I never used the media player option afterwards
I'm afraid you're dealing with the same problem

Thanks for the reply.

I have no problem with the updated navcore from the tomtom home.
The problem is just when switching to a truck navcore, that the problems arise.
But will stay with the patched original navcore, for now, until I found any that works. ;)

i always use the 9702 DSA from an older dutch forum and never had any issues with it on my go540. I did try the older ones but this worked the best (for me)
