got this tomtom 730 with Europe maps on the internal hdd
got an 8 gb card and it had the old versions of Europe ,USA ,Australia maps on it .
just updated the europe to the latest 920.5241 and deleted the old europe folder from the sd card and installed the new one ,i also put the new post code file .zip and the new post code file in the europe map folder .
then did the fast activate and 1,2,3,4, and quit
but after inserting the sd card into the tomtom it turns on and then screen comes up and it waits and then shuts down
,no maps are showing on my current config ,but can see them on the sd card

To patch a map on a SDHC card that isn't in the device, put FastActivate.exe & a copy of the device's ttgo.bif file in the map folder to be patched. Now run FastActivate.exe.

BTW, Europe 925.5412 is current & replaces the 920.5241 version.

these are the maps on the card
now want to put the europe maps onto the card
will aslo put the new zip file and the new camera files in it ,
will it all patch at the same time
maps ,postcode and camera
they will all be in the europe folder in the sd card with the ttgo.bif file in it
is that right

put the card in the tomtom and it booted this time giving me the option to choose a map and it showed the 3 maps and the old map of western and central europe 2 gb (on the internal memory)
now im going to copy the europe files again into the sd card in a separate folder and see what happens

put teh europe map in and activated it

my device info ,
but again it crashes and starts over again ,when it turns on again the screen shows tom tom iq pic and then it stays for one minute and shuts again and restarts
what am i doing wrong here

install the map 925.5412 activated and its working now
the old map might be corrup
do you have to put the speed cams both premium and normal or just one, i know you need to put 2 files 0v2 and 0v2.ver
is that right
