i did this a few years ago for some one but can for the life of me remember how i did it ,any links to instructions would be great

will the new versions of tom tom navigator say TTN7.916.9192 run on the navman s30 deluxe or does it have to be the 7.450 version

I would try the available 7.9 version as they have some bugs fixed.
But the fact still stands that TT is far too outdated and only offers the most basic in terms of navigation.
Add the complicated installation for some versions and you should agree that IGO for example would be a better choice.
IMHO TT for CE is only something for collectors or people that don't need anything with more features and ease of use.

easy of use is ok but if i can get something more uptodate with more featurs that would be great , just never done any igo stuff before

On a S30 you only have 32MB of ram, so really only iGO 8 will run, I recommend iGO 8 with the kikker skin, but if you must run Tomtom probably 7.450 with the exe compressed with upx shell will work.
