Tom Tom GO 700 files

Mon Jul 12, 2010 4:49 pm

Dear All,
I have been given a Tom Tom GO 700 with a dead hard drive. I have an 8GB CF card to replace it.
Do I format it FAT32 and where can I download a backup of all the files?

Thanks in advance,

Dave.

I wasn't aware that a 700 could use a CF card.

I don't know if I can use a CF card, but I do know that the hard drive fits into a CF card reader slot.

The hard drive is a Seagate ST625211CF 2.5GB and according to the Seagate website it has a CF+ interface, so I am making
the assumption that a CF card will work in it's place.
