Tue May 25, 2010 7:43 pm

Hi,
does anyone have a similar problem to mine. When swithing the tt off the suspend screen back light does not light the splash screen up usnig the se system navcore. Its ok on the startup splach screen.

With normal system file (not se version) it lights up correctly when swithing TT off.

go710 840.2554 truck and 8.395 se navcore. Boot 5.5120:(

Probably the SE NavCore your using...
try with NavCore 8.393.1911
which also works with your Truck MAP!

Make a full backup using windows explorer, tutorial here --> Here!

then download part1 --> Here!
and extract it into your device (overwrite all files)

then download part2 --> Here!
and extract it into your device (overwrite all files)

report back results!

Good suggestion, but it won't work. He is running Truck map 840.2554.

I have only just updated to the 8.395 and it was still the same using 8.392 - 8.393 only discovered it was not a unit fault after using 8.395 without the SE ttsystem file.

I have 8.395 and a truck map running on a spare sd card and all runs good, but i suppose it will be diffrent for diffrent models , I have a go 720. are you using any switchfiles, (There is no need to if you do) but you could try running a diffrent emulation , create a model.txt in your root and try a few diffrent emulations.

Looks Like you cracked it DJC i was running emu x40 because i like the mic on the screen for spoken instructions. changed to X30 now the suspend screen lights up as it should when turned off but the mike has gone off the screen. I generally have speed camera updates and map location errors on one screen button i now have to add the mic to that group for spoken instructions in x30
.Thats the only difference at the moment i can see
