Suction cup faillure

My suction cup of my GO750 does not work so well anymore
It works fine until untill last week but since then it fall off from the window
I can see when I tighten it agains the window it will not create enough vacuum
Can I fix this or should I buy a new one ?

Apart from trying to REALLY clean the suction cap and screen they are cheap as chips on eBay or even try a a dash mounted plate like eBay item number:173544106344

If it does not work I understand there is not so much to do about it and I have to buy a new one

If you could use a pad stuck to the very nearly flat/horizontal dashboard then there would by far less weight/pressure of the unit trying to fall down compared with a vertical angle. I'm sure Isaac Newton could explain better about gravitational pull
