Just right click on the drive in explorer and "quick format"

I don't recommend formatting, unless there is a known problem with the memory. I have never formatted my unit or any of my numerous SD cards.

Copy the complete contents of the archive across apart from "Outsourced.9103" folder if you got 64mb ram,
but if you got 32mb ram copy everything over including "Outsourced.9103" folder also,

Try a hard reset (Hold reset button with pin for 30sec or on/off button for 30sec on newer models) followd by the tomtom clear flash tool

On a fresh install you need to reboot your unit to get the ttgo.bif file ;)

There was no reason to run Fast Activator. The navcore is pre-patched & you had already patched the map/maps.

i thought changing navcore would mean having to patch the maps again

ay way could not get the 9103 to boot properly so im restoring my 9053 back up and then i will try again to get it sorted and get tom tom services back on

No, maps are patched for the device, not the navcore.

any way on with the show

i have now rolled back to navcore 9053 and am back with 2 map correction icons and no tom tom services icon, beofre i start trying to put9103 again heres some info
32 mb tom tom xl
i have 2 maps on the device (no storage card) and have add zip folder with post codes and vocalizer tts

so to get 9103 on and hopefully tt services back on i extract the full contents of both downloaded files from post 14 to my device overwritting where it asks and then reboot and that should be it
