978 mb in use 265mb free space 712mb even removing orlando only gives me 725 free and the usa map is 766

think i may just have to stick with orlando map better than nothing i suppose

Simple solution. Put a copy of UK map & USA map on a CD. Leave your UK map on your unit for the drive to the airport. Most US hotels have a computer for guest use. Once here, remove the UK map and copy the USA map from the CD, using the guest computer. Before you leave going back to the UK, put the UK map back on your unit for the drive home.

Another solution would be to buy a tomtom with SD card slot :p pmsl  prices of gps units are very reasonable these days :)

But on a serious note what pietu said above in post 15 will work, you dont need all the extra stuff like alg ect to get from a to b , and when you are back from holidays you can put the fully featured uk map back on ;)

Orlando is the fastest growing area in Florida. A 715 map for it isn't going to be very useful at all.
