Serena Vocalizer tts

I downloaded Simon from the post 38 list. Unzipped the .cab & dropped the files into the internal LoquendoTTS folder, but I did not use the post 38 attached files. Used Main Menu, Change Preferences, Voices, Change Voice to switch from Dave to Simon. No problem with Simon talking.

I got the file (10th time lucky) but it did not work, i am reinstalling NC now from TTHome

No even clean install did nothing. tendriver and downunder tx for all the help and support, it looks like i must just live with recorded voices.

Is your 9.053 a SE patched version?

yes, i tried the one just before that as well

3. Confirm you don't have a config folder, setconfig.txt file or a model.txt file in the root.
4. If you do, remove them and copy in the attached model.txt. If no, just copy in the attached model.txt.
5. disconnect & reboot. Check for voice function.

Sorry i did not read your post #48 full, i do not have a SE version installed, iwas told to work with the original NC :)

No problem.
Download this 9.053 SE .rar. [Please Register or Login to download file] Copy the ttsystem & PNDNavigator files into your unit. Download & copy the model.txt file from post 50 into your unit.
Disconnect & reboot. Check for voice function.

Ok i downloaded your files and replaced them on my TT running original NC. I copied the model.txt in the root and i copied American_English-female-Susan.rar renamed and extracted to LoquendoTTS and i copied that folder in the root as well. It did nothing, so i reset my TT and all that changed is the menu options but no computer voices :(

Edit: In TTHome the computer voices are now active but i cant download a voice it does not give me the option ( so we are getting somewhere)

OK. When you open the LoquendoTTS folder, what exactly do you see?

bin (folder
data (folder)
defautl7.session (file)
LicenceCode7.txt (file)

As it should be.
