Hi
I have upgraded my 710 to nav 9026 and installed 880.3180 maps all work fine but is it possible to get the voice control to work as well?
Thanks in advance

Do you mean map 880.3810? Your 710 has a mike, your map has the files. Set the model.txt file for emu X40 or X50.

Yes sorry that is the map I have and everything else is working fine. Is the model file in the general folder of the sd card?

Did you get 9.026 from the Latest Navcore thread?

yes I think I got the latest 9.026 changed the emu to X50 but voice command is still grayed out. Checked map and the speech files are there? everything else on the navcore works perfectly just the voice command grayed out. I saw on another site that you may need to add a file support_asr.dat to the asr folder but don't know where to find the asr folder.

The support:asr.dat inside the folder "ASR" is only a textfile with the number 1 in it - it activates the ASR commands.
The folder ASR is in the root of the TT.
If the above is non existing on your device you can simply add it by hand using a text editor for the .dat file, just make sure you correct the file ending to dat and not .dat.txt

This ASR folder is ready to go. Just unzip & copy it into the ROOT DIRECTORY.
