POI Points of interest

Hi everyone, I can't find a points of interest section.

If there is one, will someone point it out .

If there isn't one, do you think we should have one.

I find that strange, in that -
1. they are difficult to navigate and download in home as you have to download them 1 at a time .
2. many are promotional to businesses and may be freely distributed .
3. are informative to satnav users.
4 I am a poi fan !
are the general public unaware of poi's, I would be willing to find and upload them if anyone is interested, but would need a little guidandace. Maybe a poll would be appropriate.

I've gathered together a collection of POI for Australia, which I will be updating again soon. Here is the original thread:

Thanks for the offer lemoni, collections by country would be ideal , then members could download the country of their choice, and pick through them.

I will wait and see what others think, because there isn't much point if there is little or no interest.
