Your map is not patchd you are missing the required .dct file in your map folder

Also is there any reason you are using the PocketGPS speedcam files and not the officiall tomtom ones ??

Hi,

All my attemps to get the GO300 working have failed. I've now started from the begining of the tutorial to program the TomTom again.

I've got to the stage of downloading the map (I've no idea the reason for the PoketGPS maps in the original fill, a company repaired it for me and added these at the same time).

Can you please suggest where I can obtain the correct Central & Western Europe maps for my GO300 please?

I've looked on the www and there appears to several different versions.

This was the original version of my GO300:

App 8.412 (1236/090403) OS:303268
32 MB RAM (free: 5.5MB)
GPS v1.20, Boot 4.8600

I've now loanload the following into it so far:

Navcore 8.412.1236.basic
ttsystem 8.412.1236 rev 1.1

Thanks

Rod

I'm at #04 at present, I'll try and locate the UK maps.

Thanks
