TT One V3 - Boot Etc

Postby naviboy » Wed Jul 14, 2010 8:15 pm

Hi,

Current on SD Card
TT one V3
APP 8.410
GPS V1.20, Boot 5.5106
Map 'Western and Central Europe 825.2157'

The last time I updated my maps to Western&Central europe 825-215 back in 2008 on a 4G SD card.

Now I have the 850-2782 maps in a folder ready for use, but I've lost all my files used to set-up the maps in 2008, boot and patch etc, due a HDrive crash.

I have downloaded Navcore 8410-1218 basic, but what boot system could I used for this, could I copy the previous system file 5.5106 from the sd card or should I download another version and from where.

Thanks

You already have 8.410 with bootloader. There is no need to download 8.410 again. Use what you already have.

Use this new tool to patch your new map & you are done.

There is no need to change your bootloader, and as tendriver said above you can use your existing navcore if you want

Ok, thanks

As my original 8.410 is on my SD card used with the 825-2157 maps and all my other files voices, POI and etc.

Can I update my 4G SD card with the new Map 850-2782 in place of the old or do I have to start fresh using EasyUseTools etc.

Thanks again

If there is enuf room, you can remove the old map from the 2 GB card & put the new map on it. Or you can put the new map folder on the 4 GB card & copy the 8.410 navcore and all your other files voices, POI and etc to it.
Either way, you only have to patch the map.

Use this new tool to patch your new map & you are done.
