newbie: please need help with IQ Routes and show lane images

I have a tomtom one version 1
App 8.562
32 MB RAM.
Boot 5.5022.
Maps UK and Republic of Ireland 885 4010 v885.4010. Italia 885 4010 on 2GB SD card.

think I am pretty much completed. I would like to add IQ Routes and show lane images/advanced lane guidance (which is currently greyed out.)

I would be grateful if somebody could please help?

It might help to use maps that include the features you seek

What my teammate is saying is: 4010 maps do not have IQ & ALG. 4009 maps have both.

thanks for your help tendriver. im a newbie, didnt realise different versions performed different functions. im learning as I go along we all have to start somewhere.

FFR, there is a very nice compatibility chart in post 1 of every Navitotal map thread. It tells you what features each map has.

Hi tendriver. sorry to be a nuisance, but I am having problems downloading the maps from this site. I am looking for UK ROI and Italia maps. JDownloader never seems to work.

your very helpful/understanding. I have been googling for hours, but everyone seems to be experiencing the same problem I am not looking to be "spoonfed" I was under the impression that these websites were to help each other? Do you have any other links?

I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you

1. You have the correct impression.
2. No. This is all a result of MegaUpload getting shut down. You have no idea how hard it is to keep files active & not deleted.

yes I can imagine, I have read about the problems since megaupload and pirate bay etc...but this site is excellent thanks to you, dave and FBF. keep up the good work.

I have found some files but they are showing up as a rar 8.8kb.can they just be extracted the normal way? Thanks for your patience

dave is not on the Navitotal team. He is a member, like you.

a 8.8kb file would barely cover the map title file.

Just a quick update. I have managed to install the necessary maps, and IQ & ALG are now working fine. Thank you tendriver and everyone else for your help, very much appreciated. It is the patience and helpfulness that makes this the great site that it is. Keep up the good work.
