FastAktivate works for Carminat. The problem is that some of the maps are corrupted. The maps from TTactivator not and that is the reason you think with FA it not works.

I told you it works with FastAktivate the map 1050-10180 was corrupted.
If you dowload a map 1050-10180 with TTactivator then the map is not corrupted and can be activated with FastAktivator.

good morning guys, I'm really new in this matter... I've just downloaded the "Europe_1050_10180" map from the link suffested from Fredderf .
Now, what is the next step? Do I need to simply copy the whole files to the SD card?
This is the pna content coming from the zip file I've just downloaded:
ID=Europe.pna
255168574
1050
build=10180
id=3273414

Do I need to patch some file before to run it on my Carminat TomTom (renault megane). Thanks for your advice.

Dear all, the update and patch procedure look quite simple, but .... But I’ve copied the Europe_1050_10180 files (almost 3.5GB) to an empty SD card, I’ve run the FA software directly from the SD card, but whatever option I choose from FA I get always the same error message: ** File TTGO.BIF or TTNAVIGATOR.BIF not found **
I tried also to copy and replace the Europe_1050_10180 files in the SD card containing already the original files and maps from my TomTom Carminat, but I get always the same error… *.BIF not found.
Sure… I do not have this BIF file in the original SD card, too!

Please could someone tell me the instruction from scratch zero? Imagine I’m a child, I have a SD card with original TomTom map, what do I need ?
I have the following Carminat in my Renault Scenic car:
mageID = Europe-930.5606
[Image information]
Birthday = Thursday 17 July 2014, 10:24:06
Changelist = 1625992
Map 1 name = Europe
Map 1 version = 930
Map 1 build = 5606
App: 9.884.16….
SO: 1574740

Thanks and any advice is really appreciated.

Sorry but Carminat Live 9.884 cannot be patched, you need to get it updated at the Renault dealer...see here:

Hi everyone,

Same issue for me, I tried France_1050_10180 and France_1050_10226 but these maps cannot be used by my device after patching by using FastActivate :(.
From TTActivator, it detects France_1050_10180 as invalid map and France_1050_10226 as not activated map. After activating it, it works like a charm :)

Regards,
