Can someone give me a rundown of how to update the NavCore and map on this relic please?

Better remove your unique device ID.
Your map can be updated but be advised to take into account the rather limited storage capacity of 1 Gb.

How it's done can really easily be found in the tutorial section.

Thanks, I overlooked the Unique ID.

The Map area should be for US. My bad I forgot to include that on the initial post.

The up to date equivalent of your current map is United States 960.7075 that you can download from one of our uploaders [Please Register or Login to download file] but at 915MB it could be a tight squeeze. If that's the case, you'll need to specify a region of US that'll suit your needs.

Once downloaded, move your old map to a safe location then extract the new map to your device and activate it using FastActivate following the instructions on that page.
