Welcome to Navitotal.

Thanx for understanding.

You do not need any software to explore you V1 files. Connect it to your puter, open Windows explorer & scroll down to the drive that your V1 is on. Click it & have fun.

thanks for the welcome.

but I can only explore files on sd card using win explorer?

I need to explore files on internal flash?

booting up your One V1 without the SD card inserted. am I able to browse my internal memory files with the SD card inserted, or, I can browse the SD files when it is inserted - all by using my computer's windows explorer.

I know your able to do that with certain one models but is it possible with V1?

1. You are Welcome.
2. Incorrect. You can explore the internal & SD card with Win Ex.
3. OK
4. Connecting to your puter without the card. Yes you can explore the internal memory. With the card inserted, the internal memory & external memory show up in WIN EX as different drives. You can explore both.
5. With some models, you can't use internal + external at the same time to navigate. Exploring in Win Ex is different.

sorry I am not sure how I would be able to explore the inwith win ex with or without card inserted?

E is DVD RW
F appears when connected to PC with card inserted.
F also appears when no card inserted but asks to insert card when you click on disk.
There is no other disk when card inserted and connected to PC except F which is the sd card.

A One can only use SD or internal, not both at the same time.
But AFAIK when connected to the PC the TT will act as a "card reader" and you should see both.
If the SD is out you should only see one drive and that would be the internal memory.
Usually the SD is listed first and the next letter is the internal memory.
The problem with "insert disk/SD" happens with one of my older readers too, there is some loose contact in it.

Nope, other than adding a SD if possible you are out of options.

A ONE v1 (black cased serial Nos 4N00.001 or 4N001.003) does NOT have internal flash memory and ONLY runs on SD cards!

As do One v2's (new edition) 4N00.004.2 & 4N00.012

Thanks for all your expert help regarding this issue.

Please could you help I have been trying download your "fullbackup 9.405" for my other device.

I keep receiving an error from JDownloader, stating: "plugin error (out of date)"

Please do you have a different download link?

thanks for that Dave.I was wondering if it had internal memory. my device is black case SN G23236H01992.

in that case I am trying to delete the combined ini file. have you got any idea where I will find it on the sd card?

Thank you.
