Hi i have yesterday gone back to navcore 9.026 but i havnt updated my sig yet i will later, you can use any navcore on a go 720, it is not restricted in any way it is 1 of the best devices ;)

I reccomend using a 9.026.cab file along with the matching SE ttsystem file and create a file in the root of your navcore called "model.txt" with "x50" inside

x40 / x50 ect is the emulation you can run a diffrent emulation with the SE ttsystem so you get the look and feel of a more expensive unit ;) for 9.026 use x50 emulation ;) if you need more help dont be afraid to ask ;)

OK. I look for Navcore 9.026 but can only find a .cab file for GO 750 or GO 950. Can I use one of them? By the way, is there any point at all to change navcore? Navcore on my TTGO720 is 8.351.
I have a plan to change map from W and E E v.805.1801 to W and C E v.845.2645.

Ok use these files ;)

.cab file - [Please Register or Login to download file] + this ttsystem file SE_ttsystem.9.026.483454.rar

You will get a nicer newer menu layout and icons with this navcore compared to your current one, but please make shure you do a FULL backup with explorer before you change any files + also check your bootloader version see this thread

Quite frankly, no. Unless you want Greece, Russia or China running with native text, or higher quality map imaging, or if you want to make better use of the microphone for commands, then yes 9.026 is better. Plus maps are sorted in alphabetical order. If you use TT Services such as traffic via gprs, then, no 8.351 is pretty good. TMC-RDS works fine with both. 845.2645 is made for GOX20, X30, X40 and X50 so no advantage.

You can use the 9.xxx of your choice. I suggest 9.051.

Hi, little question i guess.
I myself got a TOMTOM start patched now with full menu options just like a one.
A friend got a START2.
What NAVCORE is possible on that one? doesnt show up in the table.

Tnx

The Start is pretty limited and I think the Start2 s the same.
If you got a working Navcore with full menu's and all you need on the Start than simply try it on the Start2.
Make a full backup first using the Windows Explorer and after copying the Navcore you only need to activate the map - have a look for our nice tool "Fast Activate".

Yep allready tried the new activator. Seems to work fine. Maybe a little progress bar or something to see were it is, but untill now its fine .

For the start i use the 8.544 navcore so you get full options just like it's bigger brothers. Not just 1 page in the menu but all 8.

I'll give the start2 a try.

Just applied the 8.544 incl the START to ONE patch onto the start2 benelux and put in the latest 2GB europe map.
Now it's got the ONE menu options and works even faster than before.
Just to let you know it works fine.
