After initial setup problems, I installed your ammended version of this NavCore.
Running 890.4222 map now without any problems whatsoever.
I couldn't get TTS to work properly so I deleted the Loquendo file, problem solved!

Been using this setup for a few months now without problems - Big Thanks DownUnder.

One small query - no house numbers, is this a feature of the map or navcore?

If you are referring to Post Codes:
LATEST POSTCODES Version 890 (GREAT BRITAIN, NEDERLAND & SINGAPORE) Postcode V890
Extract and copy the "Zip" folder to the root of your TomTom.

Thanks Ten Driver, I'm running that version of the post codes and it's working well.

I can't get the house numbers to appear along a street on the map, is this down to the map or navcore?
I've tried different emulations but can't get them to work on any of them.
Any ideas?

Main Menu, Change preferences, Advanced preferences, check "Show house number before street name" & "Show street names", if they are not already checked.

Both them options checked, and tried settings in other emulations too, but no house numbers.

It's not a huge problem by any means, but as I do some door to door work, it would be handy for longer roads where there are 200+ house numbers on a street :chok_mini:

Maybe I'm missing something here. Are you wanting to see all of the house numbers on the navigation screen as you drive down the street? Or are you having a problem entering a house number, when you create a route using "Navigate to an address?

Edit: Nevermind, put the password in the bottom and kept clicking around randomly until it took me to a working download link

Thanks for this navcore Downunder & DSA8310

Can you clarify if it's actually much different to 9.430; is it specifically aimed at 32mb devices , or is it also likely to benefit current devices that natively run 9.430?

Cheers

The only real difference is the added asian support, otherwise it is identical to the 9.430.
If you device has 64mb you will have no real gain as you don't need memory boost.
And of course you can select different emulations - wich for a native 9.430 device the SE versions will do as well.

My mistake, I thought I had house numbers along the street on the device before I installed this NavCore.
I may have been getting confused with Igo on another device :o

I was gonna try and use the latest version DU uploaded, but struggling to find the right link to download.

I'm going to try the latest version DU uploaded but struggling to download it, I can't find the right link.

Hello. I'd like to try this navcore version on a tomtom one new edition. I've read that I should take care of the bootloader upgrade. How can I ensure that I won't brick m'y TT with this navcore ? Then I'll appreciate using high capacity sd card with this TT. What is the most appropriate bootloader version ? And how can I find and upgrade it ? Thanks for your help.

AFAIK, the TT Team has never bricked a member's device.

TomTom Current Configuration {29.09.2011} Run this program & post your results.

Hello.
I've found a 5.5022 bootloader.
I've copied it onto my 2Gb SD.
It updated well and worked well with this SD.
Then I installed a blank 16 Gb micro SD, ran Tomtom Home, performed the update.
Then I copied this 9.45 navcore on the SD replacing existing files.
Then I started the Tomtom, I saw shortly a menu and then turned black...
Now I cannot start my TT whatever the inserted SD card...
Can you help ?
THanks.

Sorry. I continue my tests.

Seems to work great with my 16 Gb SD card !!!
Great. Thanks for this crazy navcore even running on my "old" one !
Just one last thing : I cannot activate the TTS voice with last fast activate tool. When I run it, it doesn't see the french voice I've copied into VocalizerTTS folder. When I select it in my tomtom, it works strange and this voice repeat something like "copyright" ???
Can you help ? Thanks again.
