@ Downunder35m

Thank you for jour work.
I tried it out on my old TT Go300 and it has almost the same results as Lecarpiste in message #22.
In the modes x20, x30, x40 and x50 it runs but has only 2 or less Mb free memory
In the self mode it run fine with 7 to 8 Mb free, but it doesnot allowe me to use of ALG (I use maps with ALG, Benelux and W&C_Europe_2G both 885.4009 versions)

So I went back to my old 8.562 SE navcore with allso 7 to 8 Mb free and ALG possible.

greetings
Peter (Holland)

Will work on ONE 3er with no problems?

I confirm that this navcore works VERY SMOOTH on a TomTom One 3rd Edition V6 32MB. the Loquendo voices even worked fine with the SELF skin, but no sound at all was present on the rest of the skins. what I did was simply to remove the Loquendo folder, select the X50 skin with the Antonio spanish voice, install the latest Iberia map (currently 885.4009), added several POIs (radars, guia campsa, ...), and not only it's still running, it runs VERY FAST! indeed, this could be the fastest navcore I've ever tried, comparable (if not faster) with the great 8.562. it's fantastic to be able to get an old piece of hardware to be so up to date! :yahoo:

regarding free memory, it's always between 5MB and 6MB, which is acceptable since no other previous navcore I've tried have been able to reduce those numbers.

thank you Downunder35m for this great work!

Tried your Navcor on a ONE XL S. Seems to work fine, computer voice works and everything else seems OK (no emu menu, though). But when I power up with the serial RDS-TMC antenna plugged in, the unit freezes after a few seconds and I have to hit the reset button. The antenna works fine with the other Navcor's I have tried.

I reverted to 9.205 looks much better than this.

@Blump3345: please try to copy the following files and folder from your backup to the new Navcore:
In the root the file "mctx.dat" and the folder "gns".
These contains the RDS TMC infos that already worked on your device.

Did what you suggested. About 2 seconds after the "TomTom RDS-TMC receiver connected" message appears, it freezes and then reboots after a minute. Just keeps doing that until I unplug the antenna. Works fine without the antenna, but i really need the traffic.

I tried it here with a V13 receiver and no problems.
If it was working fine I suggest to revert back to your old NC.

Hi Downunder,

TTS voices do not work on all emu, only the non TTS ones work. I've installed your navcore on 920T North America 885.4087.

[Solved] Instead of copy and merge with your LoquendoTTS folder, I decided to leave the original TTS folder alone.

It would surprise me if the Loquendo voices would work properly on a 32mb device as there is no chance for me to free enough Ram.
As I said before I'm pretty surprised that the NC works at all on those devices, might be a sign that TT already works on an update for them but who knows...

Hi, is there some way to select an skin manually with your navcore? I mean, to not use the menu at Sdkregistry and force some configuration of skin overwriting some data or file wit the configuration (18=X20, 24=X40, 25=X30, 37=X50) e.g. "setconfig.txt" of SE versions?
Thank you.
Checked with 32 memory Tomtom ONE XL, all works, Loquendo, Bluetooth, but only 2 panels bar and no Lane Guide Images (skin x30 selected always by default). With the Navcore 9.160 I had and x40 skin with Loquendo, 3 panels bar, and Lane images....
Thanks in advance.

If you were happy with it and everything worked it would be the easiest wayto use your backup ;)
There is not that much new stuff in it and for what you want it has too many limitations.
Forcing another Emu will work but not help as you end with less than 3mb of free Ram.
