I'm updating my TOMTOM XL navcore and map western Europe.
I already upgraded the navcore and everything works. Now i put the map and it says that cant handle that map.
Please someone know what maps are compatible with my TomTom XL.

Maps are navcore specific, not device specific. The device's memory is taken into consideration for determining map size.
Every Navitotal map thread, uploaded by Popeye, has a compatibility chart in either post 1 or 2.
This is about all of the help that we can give you, since you didn't give us many details to work with.

I've solved now.
I knew that when opening tomtom home and add maps it suggests to buy a specific version but it's not apearing. then i deleted the map and tryied again. This time Tomtom Home suggested me that specific version. In my case for mu tomtom XL 950 navcore it suggested europe west 1GB 950.6544 and now after patching it works!
