Map versions and .meta's.

Hi Guys,

First time poster, probably about to ask a stupid question, so please be gentle with me.....:chok_mini:

After much reading on this forum I've now become reasonably adept at downloading, installing and setting up TT maps, etc. One thing is still puzzling me somewhat though. I notice that on many of the map downloads they often list other .meta's with it that do not exactly match the version number (i.e. last 4 digits) of the download. Does this mean that these .meta's can be used with those map downloads, or are they shown for information only?

The reason I ask is that the only currently available download map version isn't the one I need according to the tables, but my required version is listed in the .meta's shown with it. My guess is that they must exactly match, but if anyone could confirm, that would be just great.

Thanks, Geoff.

Each map has is own meta. They are not interchangeable. If you are referring to something like this:

Australia
Australia_880_3810 OR

Australia_880_3810 with Automatic Installer & Patcher
: Australia 880.3810
9D A3 7E 1C 1A 54 6A D1 0C E4 B5 F7 F5 31 B3 45 Australia-452.meta

; Australia_880_3811
F5 C7 E1 27 2A 32 1C F1 32 DC 57 47 D4 86 AF 48 Australia-453.meta

; Australia_880_3865
1D 57 58 43 7C 78 B7 29 DC D3 39 BB C6 46 35 CB Australia-479.meta

There are three 880 edition Australia maps. 3811 & 3865 have not been posted yet.
