Make sure the map is not " inside " of another map folder.

Meaning when you open the North America 2GB folder....you see a bunch of other files....NOT another North America 2GB folder.

Also....make sure the North America 2GB map folder is not inside ANY other folder....meaning the North America 2GB is not inside of a folder called maps

What tool are you using to patch the navcore and map ?

I am using Fast Activate Premium v1.8::..tool to activate the maps. I can see the *.dct file created after runing the FA tool. The map folder does not have any sub folders.
Checked the meta file and it has the meta code
FD 0B 33 E7 3B 6C 2C 7F A4 33 3D 6D D8 A0 BC D8 North_America_2GB-512.meta ; North_America_2GB 885_4087

Also there is a North_America_2GB-512 and North_America_2GB-512.meta.dct files in the map folder.

OK, I repeat from post 15, "Your 9.401 navcore is not patched". Your map is fine!!

Attached is a 2 part pre-patched 9.401 ttsystem file. It is not a SE version, so you can't change the emu. Unzip it & copy it onto your unit replacing the current ttsystem file. Disconnect & reboot.

I did patch the navcore using FA tool. I can use a patched USA_Canada_Mexico_P_4097 map with this nav without problem.

You are telling us this in post 20????? It would have saved several people a lot of time & effort, if this, as well as the map being the 2GB version, had been in post 1 !!!

I am sorry. I downloaded North_America_2GB_885_4087 map from this site. I am not sure if it is a valid map or not to use?

That map will run and is correct for a 930 ( it runs great on my 930 ).

At this point you know the Navcore is patched and working....because the USA_Canada_Mexico_P_4097 map is working.

Do you still have a copy of the map just as you first downloaded it....Just un-zipped....NOT touched....not patched ?

If so....delete the map off the 930....then copy the un-touched map to the 930....now patch the map.

If that doesn't work then download the map again....something must be corrupt with your copy.

You are wasting your time downloading the map again. Post a screen shot of the root directory & of the contents of 4087 map folder.

Tried attaching the map folder screen shot but getting error msg about the file size limitation.
