Ok your device connects via activesync (WMDC)

Copy TTNavigator.bif and your entire map folder onto a spare sd card or a usb memory key along with your choice of patcher, (Autoactivate, Fastactivate, etc...) and run the patcher again, Then copy everything back again, Overwriting where necessary. That should get the map activated.

This can be tricky to solve, Double check you've copied everything to it's correct location like the map folder is not inside another folder, Check whether the file "Note_prj.dll" is in the mobile navigator folder, The PDA version of Tomtom relies on WinCE componants to work properly and working out what's wrong is not easy, Later on today i'll do some research on this for you.

The PDA version of Tomtom is the cause of much frustration sometimes!

it shows up as a WindowsCE portable device when i open that, it has icons one net work one resident flash .i have been puting the navcore in resident flash in a file caled navigator and also puting maps in same folder but in there own folder
i did some research and found out if i changed the navigator folders name to MobileNavigator and the TTnavigator, exe to the same name i get tt to work but not find the maps

There are alternatives to Tomtom if you're starting to run out of patience, But here's a couple of options you can try...

Rename NOTE_PRJ.DLL to NOTE_PRJ.DLL2 , This file enables maps on a SD Card to be found, Maybe it's causing Tomtom not to look on the Resident Flash.

Leave NOTE_PRJ.DLL as it is and copy the entire map folder to the root of a SD Card and insert it into your device.

I have deleted maps from inside navigator file and havebut then just inside resident flash also took a copy of NOTE_PRJ.DLL in resident flash with it
started gps now i have for first time a message that states activation failed sorry this is not the correct activation code for this product,'Australia'

Rerun the patcher, With navcore 7.450 you need to use the tt7 keygen, i don't think fastactivate uses this (may be wrong) I use autoactivate, Make sure you use ttnavigator.bif from residentflash not residentflash\mobilenavigator.

Not sure if it is of any help but even for CE based TT's you have to run Tomtom first to get the BIF file, as it is only create during the startup.
For the keygen you can use any backup of that file you have as only your device ID is of interest for activating the map.
It might be worth trying Alberts Easy Activator as it has the keygen fo the V7 and newer Navcores as well as a good help included.

ttnavigator.bif i do not have this file any where

Fri Dec 03, 2010 9:42 am

fast- & Autoactivate both works with 7 keygen

you found ttnavigator.bif same directory where "TomTom Navigator.exe" if you do not found it other places...

Fast- & AutoActivate (30.11.2010) versions contain bug, please use latest (02.12.2010)

On your pc turn on show hidden/system files and unhide file extensions, If you've started Tomtom and got as far as the map activation error, the file will be there.

That looks like your ttnavigator.bif file, Put that and your map folder along with auto/fast activate on a SD card/USB memory key and run the exe, Then copy everything back to where it was.
