1. FYI, you can close that message & TT Home functions normally.

2. To fix it, I need to know what model you have.

Please follow these instructions carefully & exactly.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982
Save this change by clicking "File" in the upper left corner of windows explorer, then "Save as" ttgo.bak. At this point, there is only a ttgo.bak file in the root, no ttgo.bif.
Disconnect & reboot. Now you will have a ttgo.bak, a ttgo.bif & a ttgo.ori file in the root & no error message..

Thanks a lot, you are a star. I followed your steps and TT Home not giving any more error message.
Is there any way of removing the Drive Safely screen when planned a new route.
Many thanks
Happy New year

If you are referring to the "Legal Notice" that starts with: "It is your responsibility to observe safe driving"......, you should only see it on the first boot, each time you disconnect from your computer.

I have the same problem on my 710 can I just clarify, after creating the ttgo.bak file do I need to delete the bif and ori files and then reboot?

At present if I alter the bif file and then connect to the computer all is ok until I disconnect and reconnect at which point I get the error message again and the bif file has been changed to 9026 etc.

1. No, you keep all three files.

2. You can't alter the .bif file. You unit creates a new one everytime you boot. You are having this problem because you are using the wrong values in the .bak file.

Please follow these instructions carefully & exactly. Use the values below.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace the values in lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
