how do you put truck maps on tomtom go 740

Good afternoon folks, I am very new to this site, stumbled on it looking for a way to put truck maps onto my sd card and use it. Firstly let me introduce myself, I'm Baxterman from the uk. I was told it is possible to load truck maps onto an sd card and use it, and it is not working as planned, I have searched this forum to hopefully answer the question I am asking, If it is here I am sorry to ask it again, however let me begin of what I have done and hopefully someone can tell me where i am going wrong, I have a go 740 live internal memory app 9.430, boot 5.5277 map uk roi v895.4438 gps1.20. I have put onto my 4gb card truck maps v895 truck maps app v8.398 and copied the file ttgo.bif file onto sd card, the problem I have is that the tomtom just hangs. does nothing. I have to hold the power button down for 10 seconds to turn it off. I did run the Fa to activate the maps and navcore but it still hangs there. Many thanks

The 9.700 is current for Truck Navcores, 910 is the current map version and both should work on your device.
