how to save favourites?

hi all
it's been a while since been on here but I've just updated my tomtom xl to app 9.401 with maps 910.4892 everything is great but I was wondering how do you save your favourite destinations,i've done a back up and would like to add all my favourite destinations onto my updated tomtom. can you do this and if so which file do I drag across? thanks Darren.
